ChoreSavvy is a fun, welcoming way to help kids build routines and take on responsibilities. Born out of a parent’s love for keeping their children on track, it started as a personal project when another platform went offline.

Now, this simple, browser-based tool has grown into a resource for families everywhere, carefully crafted by a self-taught creator passionate about making chores rewarding and easy. It’s completely free, app-free, and designed with simplicity in mind to fit any device—even that old and out-of-date tablet or those unused hand me downs that most of us have lying around from years gone by.

Privacy Commitment

Keeping your family’s information private is a top priority here. We only collect the essentials, like your name or nickname, email for passwordless login codes, a secure 4-digit PIN for parental access, a unique family nickname, and your time zone to log chores accurately.

Child accounts require just a name or nickname, and their birthday for fun celebratory themes and reminders. None of this information is shared, sold, or traded. You’re in complete control, so feel free to use real or made-up information—whatever you’re comfortable with. Privacy and security are built-in, making this platform a safe space for your family.

Banking and Money

At ChoreSavvy, we’ll never ask you to connect your bank accounts or set up any kind of financial account with us. While automation can sometimes be convenient, we believe it brings unnecessary risk in today’s world. Instead, we leave all money management—whether electronic transfers or good old-fashioned cash—entirely in your hands.

What we do provide is a simple digital ledger. This lets you keep track of chore completions, see how much is available to “cash out,” and decide when and how much your child should withdraw. You’re free to do this as often or as rarely as works for your family.

After all, the joy of rewarding our kids—watching their faces light up at the thought of their hard-earned money and the possibilities it brings—is a special moment. It’s not just about paying them; it’s about celebrating their effort and responsibility. We believe those moments should remain personal, meaningful, and never automated away.

Organized by categories like “Morning” or “Evening,” chores are clear and structured, giving kids a sense of ownership over their day without constant reminders.

Editing chores is also a breeze. Need to adjust points or change the schedule? No problem! You can quickly update tasks to keep things relevant and exciting. A transaction log records all completed chores, so parents can see progress from anywhere with internet access. It’s the perfect way to encourage responsibility without the fuss.

Each child’s profile is designed to be personal and exciting! Children can select a color theme, making their account uniquely theirs and giving them a little added ownership. This feature brings a splash of personality to their profile, helping them feel more connected and motivated to complete tasks. As the site grows, new features and adjustments will come, all inspired by feedback from families like yours.

I’m Trev, a dad to two amazing kids. Over the years, I’ve tried plenty of chore and family management tools, but found most to be overly complicated, cluttered, or demanding far more personal information than necessary.

Chore Savvy was born from a need for something simpler — a tool to help manage my family with ease, without sacrificing privacy or usability.
